Responsibilities and Duties:  

• Most importantly, has a positive attitude and an interest in plants.
• Processing cash and credit/debit card payments.
• Counting cash.
• Comfortable using a computer and POS system.
• Price, arrange, display, and stock all garden centre plants and products.
• Watering, cleaning, condensing, organizing, and maintaining plants.
• Assist customers in loading purchases into their vehicles.
• Answering phones and text messages in a professional manner.
• Has a willingness to learn new skills.
• Is excited to work in a fast-paced, always-changing industry.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for customers and staff.
• Maintaining all safety protocols, including sanitation and PPE usage.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Fast-paced environment.
• Work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Bending, lifting, kneeling, PPE based on current provincial health guidelines (subject to change).
